What is the Annex?

The annex is a self contained building standing next to our home. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. We have a number of animals sharing our lives, most of whom are very happy to welcome visitors.

Where is The Annex?

We are situated just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall. We are a 25 minute drive from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from the market town of Leek and 20 minutes from the Potteries.

We share our land with lots of animals including:

Our Story of Success

The annex offers a modern comfortable living space.

As you step into the building you enter the brand new fully equipped kitchen, complete with washing machine. Downstairs there is a seating area/bedroom comprising of a single bed with a truckle, a table and 4 chairs and a single comfy chair. The shower room, WC and hand basin is accessed from this room.
Accessed from a small stair case, you will find the main bedroom containing a standard double bed with 2 bed side tables and lamps. A sofa, easy chair and TV.
We offer a complimentary selection of breakfast cereals with fresh milk.

Our location is rural with all local amenities no more than a 15 minute drive. There are several local good food and drink establishments offering a wide range of cuisine and real ales. We would be more than happy to make a reservation on your behalf.

Meet our little furry friends.

There is a range of books and board games to help you make your stay more entertaining. The annex is not over looked and sits in a rural setting overlooking countryside and open land. There are many country walks in the local area of which Julia or Arnie will gladly point you in the right direction (or are able to organise the search party if you are not back before dark).
At the back of the property we have an outside area where guests are welcome to sit and chat to the chickens, cats, geese and rabbit, and of course the ponies if they are around.

Things to do while you are here

We live on the outskirts of the very pretty village of Bagnall. There is a tea shop in walking distance at the local garden centre and a bit further along in the village there is the village pub which has a very good menu as well as offering a typical village pub experience.
